FAQ's

 What is a break room?
A break room is a fun activity where you enter a specially built room designed for breaking things in. You’ll be given a set of fragile items to break, smash, throw and destroy in any of a number of ways.

Are food and drinks available?
We have a number of drinks and snacks available for purchase.

Is alcohol available?
Our Wellington Central and Auckland Central venues is licensed and you can choose from a range of drinks on site- No BYO. Brewtown does not have a license and no BYO drinks are permitted on site. Note- we do not permit intoxicated persons to be on the premises.

Is it safe?
While dealing with sharp objects can be dangerous, we take great care making sure all of our customers are participating in accordance to our safety rules. You will be provided with full safety gear and be shown how everything works. If you’re following the rules you’ll be completely fine.

For your safety, we only allow a maximum of 2 people in the room while items are being smashed.

What if I’m late?
All of our sessions start on time, so if you’re late you might miss out on your session. To combat this we recommend telling everyone to arrive 10 minutes early.

How do I book?
Follow the ‘Book Now’ links then select a date, the available times will be displayed. Follow the prompts and make your payment, you will receive a confirmation email upon completion. Please read the email carefully paying close attention to the date and time you booked.

What do I need to wear?
All participants MUST wear the safety gear provided as you’ll be surrounded by broken bits and pieces. The gear includes; coveralls, full face mask and gloves. Ear muffs and boots are encouraged and available on-site as well.

Underneath your coveralls you’ll be able to wear whatever you’d like. We recommend something comfortable and good for being active.

Age Limit?
Particpants must be 12 or older. Ages 12-15 must have a parent or guardian in the room with them, ages 16-17 must have a parent or guardian on the premises with them.

What Our Clients Are Saying

Amazing experience, the lady who set us up was so nice and lovely to chat to, and it was obvious that she really cared for our safety the whole experience. I went with a group of two others, we bought 2 crates and spent about 50 minutes smashing everything we could. There are many things to do if you get there early, such as a pool table, ping pong table, and other fun activities, and there are drinks as well. This is a great place to hang with friends or family, and a great place to let out all of your frustrations about anything!
